About us
Established in 2002, RUDO Consulting (operating as RUDO Retail) is an independently managed 100% BEE Corporation, owned by its operative directors. With offices in Centurion Pretoria, RUDO provides research and training serving the banking, microfinance and finance industry. As experts in research and training, our extensive skills encompass all research aspects from conceptualization, research design, data collection, data analyses and interpretation and strategy development. Our training skills includes conceptualizing, establishing training needs, designing and development of training material, facilitation of training, pre and post training evaluations. Our capacity and strategic partnerships provide RUDO with a massive national and international network and footprint and ensures high quality outputs. Through its multi-disciplinary team, RUDO has conducted high level research and training projects within the public and private sector which includes debt counselling training, financial training programs, profiling studies, policy reviews, impact assessment studies, evaluation studies and developed Sector Skills Plans for the BANKSETA. Our associates are distinguished by their functional and technical expertise combined with their hands-on experience, thereby ensuring that our clients receive the most effective and professional service.
Meet the Directors
Mr. Thabo Khanye
He is a seasoned skills development specialist within the banking and microfinance industry, and has contributed immensely to the South African Credit Law Review between 2002 and 2007.
His experience ranges locally from project management, training design, material development, facilitation and assessment.
He has internationally experience in researching community colleges as alternative methods of delivering education and training in South Africa.
He has taught and produced hundreds of registered debt counsellors nationally and has written several academic papers on Community Colleges and Adult Basic Education (ABET).
Mrs. Portia Khanye
She is an experienced skills development specialist, and is registered as an assessor, moderator and Skills Development Facilitator (SDF).
She has over three decades experience within the banking and microfinance industry and has contributed and participated extensively in the Credit Law Review of 2002-2007, which has resulted in the enactment of the National Credit Act in 2006.
She participated in local and international projects within financial regulation, has written several papers on the Credit Law Reviews and Consumer Protection, and has presented in various local and international conferences.
